Apr 06, 2020 “Panasonic Image App” is an application that makes it possible to use your smartphone to remotely control the shooting and playback functions of a Wi-Fi-compatible digital camera/digital video camera, and to perform upload operations to SNS (Social Networking Service) sites. The following major functions are available with this application. ・You can watch the same image as on the Live. Jul 06, 2016 I like to use the Panasonic Image App as a remote control for my Panasonic video camera. This app does not work on my Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen. The app does not find any WiFi network even when the phone is already connected to a WiFi network. I only get a message that I have to select a WiFi network, but there is no list of available networks.

It also allows you to apply location information to recorded images and easily perform automatic transfer of images.(*5)
・If your smartphone is equipped with NFC functions, you can transfer recorded still pictures stored in your digital camera to your smartphone simply by touching your digital camera with your smartphone. (*4)
・You can make settings to automatically transfer still pictures recorded with your digital camera to your smartphone.
・You can add location information acquired with your smartphone to pictures recorded using your digital camera.
Additional functions for digital video cameras
・By installing a digital video camera, you can monitor your home while you are out by checking the image on your smartphone, and speak to those at home and take pictures. (*3) (*6) (*7)

NOTE:
• If you are logged in to a “normal” user account, sound may not be output from the computer. If sound is not output from the internal speakers, quit this software, and then make sure that “Internal Speakers” is selected in “Output” of “Sound” in “System Preferences”. If it is not selected, manually switch to “Internal Speakers”.
• On a computer that has an automatic graphics switching function, projection may fail if “System Configuration” →“Energy Saving” → “Automatic Graphics Switching” is enabled. If projection fails, disable this function.
• When connecting under the IEEE802.11n standard, the wireless LAN adapter, projector and access point used must all support the 11n standard.
Elite and dangerous. • When using the projector at the [S-DIRECT] or [M-DIRECT] setting, use a wireless LAN adapter that supports “WPA2/AES”.
• The “App Nap” function may cause image display to stop. In such cases, disable the “App Nap” function. For details on disabling the function, see “Image display stops” in Frequently Asked Questions section.
• For a projector, the display resolution of projected images differs depending on the aspect ratio of the display device of the projector used.
- When 4:3: Images of 1024 x 768 dots are displayed with the number of display dots of the projector.
- When other than 4:3: Images of 1280 x 800 dots are displayed with the number of display dots of the projector.
• For a flat-panel display, images of 1280 x 800 dots are displayed with the number of display dots of the flat-panel display.

Downloading and Installing the Software

- Click the 'Download' button above.
- Double-click “Wireless Manager” on the virtual disk that has been mounted.
- The installer starts up. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
- Click [Restart].
